溫暖的氣溫與間歇性降雨讓常被春季洪水侵擾的托爾訥河(Tornio River)兩側的芬蘭與瑞典都拉起警報，瑞典官方警告級別達到3級，並在托爾訥河岸架設了防洪屏障(如圖)，甚至準備要在5/13發布撤離通知，所幸水情逐漸穩定下來，危機解除，5/14官方宣布沒有人需要撤離。
